POSITION DESCRIPTION:  The Marketing Manager will develop, implement and execute marketing plans for Content That Works and King & Columbus agency. They will work closely with management and staff to enhance the brand, increase value, grow revenue and meet revenue objectives.


  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs to promote assigned products and services.
    Develop the brand strategy to convey the value of the services provided.
    Develop qualified leads through inbound marketing strategy to grow audience, engagement and eventually to achieve revenue objectives.
    Content develop to position brands as thought leaders in the industry including blogs, press releases, white papers, video and more.
    Work side-by-side with team across to support their sales efforts including support sales collateral.
    Design and direct support sales collateral.
    Oversee the management of social media marketing to develop, grow and engage audiences.
    Oversee the management of marketing coordinator.
    Working with vendor partners to maximize productivity and efficiencies.
    Plan and coordinate B2B events including trade shows and client seminars.
    Other duties as assigned.

Requirements, minimum education level, and experience:

  • BS/BA in marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent work experience
    3+ years experience in sales and/or marketing

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative, team based environment
    Has incredible attention to detail and is capable of multi-tasking and coordinating several projects at once
    Prioritize, manage time and meet deadlines
    Excellent planning and organizational skills
    Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
    Effective interpersonal and communication skills
    Excellent presentation skills, interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills also required.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Inbound Marketing platform, CRM, graphic design programs and more.
    Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in new technology
    Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
    Must have a proven track record of excellence in marketing support
    Strong persuasive oral and written communication skills.
    Must have the ability to exercise independent judgment in order to handle a variety of duties.
    Strong organizational and time management skills required.
    Proven track record of accuracy to detail and timeliness.
    Dependable transportation and a valid South Carolina driver’s license and proof of insurance are required.

 Physical Requirement: Close eye work, continuous sitting, constant walking, standing, light to moderate lifting 15-30 pounds (per safety policy).
