POSITION DESCRIPTION:  The Account Relationship Specialist is an extension of the outside sales team. The Account Relationship Specialist serves as an additional sales resource to new and existing clients and operational sales support for a sales team.  The Account Relationship Specialist works in partnership with Account Executives to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.  This role requires the ability to excel in a fast-paced and team oriented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build strong business relationships with assigned clients. Use those relationships to enhance the sales performance of the team.
    Manage new and existing accounts with a focus on delivering first class customer service, client satisfaction and retention. Help create digital solutions that meet and exceed our clients’ expectations by delivering the right results at the right time.
    Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
    Collaborate with sales partners and management on new ideas and initiatives.
    Support the planning and execution of both print and digital advertising campaigns and help monitor campaign performance including expense tracking, project management and weekly reporting.
    Maintain business relationships with customers to better understand and meet their individual needs and requirements. Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs and concerns
    Maintain CRM platform structure and architecture to ensure that all required information is accessible.
    Manage reporting to identify trends; measure and forecast performance, churn, and retention.
    Assist in conduct training for the team members to use the software to its full potential.
    Actively look for ways to help sales executives make efficient use of their sales time.
    Collaborate with account executives to identify customer support and technology problems and resolve them.
    Manage and maintain accuracy and integrity of account, contact and opportunity data.
    Have a thorough understanding of procedures to schedule ads.
    Attend all sales training, sales meetings, strategy meetings and outside work-related events as assigned.
    Work with team members on ways to improve sales figures and identify the benefits services for the customer

Requirements, minimum education level, and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent sales experience
    Experience using CRM system strategically to deliver business value
    Dependable transportation and a valid South Carolina driver’s license and proof of insurance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to understand the business requirements and work with the team to translate them into solutions.
    Expert in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    Strong oral and written communication skills
    Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail
    Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
    Ability to comprehend how individual data rolls up to achieve key program goals and milestones
    A strong working knowledge of a variety of digital services and how to match our solutions, products and services with our clients’ needs
    Marketing fundamentals plus cross-function and collaboration skills
    The ability to create custom, professional presentations based on the data provided by our sales team
    The ability to coordinate deliverables on time in a cost-effective and high-quality manner
    The ability to work together with our sales team to brainstorm solutions and/or go on sales calls with them to help explain complicated digital solutions to clients
    Strong time management skills to meet deadlines
    Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as needed in a fast-paced and somewhat stressful working environment, especially when dealing with time sensitive issues
    Strong customer service, interpersonal, and presentation skills
    Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment

Physical Requirement, Work Environment and Travel:

Close eye work on computer, continuous sitting, constant walking, standing, light to moderate lifting 15-20 pounds.

The worker is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.  However, the worker is also sometimes subject to outside environmental conditions while meeting with clients outside of the office.

Limited local travel is required.
