POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Interactive Account Executive – Local Retail is responsible for driving interactive advertising revenue, within the Local Retail category, to exceed sales goals. This position will work with a team of Multimedia Account Executives on the Local Retail team to manage and grow existing client accounts while prospecting individually for new client accounts. This person will develop a thorough understanding of Post and Courier’s interactive product and service offerings, and they will be able to consult with clients to create and present thorough interactive advertising solutions that will help our clients achieve their goals. This person will manage long-term customer relationships while maintaining a focus on establishing new clients. A focus on increasing active accounts and reducing client churn will be key performance indicators. Our ideal candidate must possess the ability to interact and communicate in a professional and concise manner with a firm grasp on presenting our interactive offerings to key decision makers.
- Drive new and incremental interactive revenue for the Local Retail category to meet revenue goals
Manage new and existing accounts with a focus on client satisfaction and retention
Be the subject matter expert for interactive offerings as they apply to the Local Retail category
Develop and aggressively grow sales by cross selling existing clients and prospecting for new clients
Handle the fulfillment of interactive advertising campaigns and monitor campaign performance
Review campaign reporting with clients to ensure they are seeing the value in their advertising investment
Train internal staff on interactive offerings and processes
Collaborate with sales partners and management on special projects
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements, minimum education level, and experience:
- College degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
