POSITION DESCRIPTION: Establishes and maintains business relationships with internal and external customers; in charge of managing all the sales aspects of EPI365. Responsible for creating and maintaining new customer accounts; results oriented and provide the best account experience for their clients. One of their main responsibilities includes generating new business by creating leads and following industry trends; network with small, medium, and large businesses to analyze their needs and offer tailored products.
- Utilizes planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills to ensure timely deliverables
Collaborate with departments including Sales Support, Operations, IT and Finance, etc.
Conduct extensive research/market analysis and develop new and improved methods for marketing services through various new and traditional business avenues
Proactively work with clients to understand their current IT related business initiatives
Determine the IT needs of new and existing customers and sell products or services which address these needs.
Identify and follow up on opportunities for new sales.
Provide quotes of product and service prices, and negotiate sales with customers.
Open and maintain customer sales accounts and keep records of customer transactions.
Provides timely and accurate information to the sales team and to the client
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Requirements, minimum education level, and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
A strong background in business development, marketing, and information technology is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of, or experience in technology.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as solid presentation skills.
The ability to operate computer software
Demonstrate good presentation skills and excellent negotiation skills
Has a successful track record of developing, managing, growing, and institutionalizing complex relationships
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Ability to learn other required software quickly
Strong logical and critical-thinking skills; great interpersonal skills
Flexibility and adaptability to changing work demands
Ability to interact with senior management
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Strong work ethic and passion for the job and its opportunities
Must have valid South Carolina driver license and automobile insurance.
