POSITION DESCRIPTION:   Multi-Media Account Executive for local sales is responsible for selling multi-media advertising; meeting and exceeding sales goals within an assigned territory; and bringing in new business through extensive sales calls and conducting sales assessments. Increasing active accounts as well as reducing account churn are critical key performance indicators.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieving assigned monthly sales goals in print.
    Achieving assigned monthly sales goals in digital.
    Achieving assigned monthly sales goals in targeted products, such as sticky notes, print and deliver inserts, and where applicable magazines.
    Identifying and calling on inactive advertisers within geographic territory.
    Achieving and growing active account goals.
    Growing active accounts and increasing average revenue per transaction.
    Conducting ongoing face to face meetings with advertising clients.
    Generate and follow-up on sales leads; identify key decision makers.
    Coordinate/product customer proposals.
    Work closely with the company’s product specialists in presenting customer centric options to advertising clients.
    Communicate effectively with advertising clients and communicatively within the sales team as well as other departments within the company.
    Attend relevant sales and strategy meetings as assigned.
    Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements, minimum education level, and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or a related field
    Sales experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have a proven track record of excellence in sales/sales support, strong persuasive oral and written communication skills.
    Strong time management and organizational skills.
    Strong presentation skills, interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills also required.
    Dependable transportation and a valid South Carolina driver’s license and proof of insurance.
    Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Physical Requirement: Close eye work, continuous sitting, constant walking, standing, light to moderate lifting 15-30 pounds (per safety policy).
