About this Job

Content That Works is a digital agency who works with media companies in content creation and native advertising.  The internship will be 20 hours a week for the summer semester split between learning editorial and content creation, and marketing.  Preferably the intern will have an interest and experience in both areas of study.

Editorial Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assigned 5-10 stories per week across a wide range of topic areas including health and wellness, weddings, home and garden, employment, real estate and employment.
    Schedule and conduct phone interviews and write well-reported stories, as well as edit freelance copy and assist with the production of designed pages.
    Work on multiple stories at the same time
    Perform other duties as assigned by management

Marketing Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in marketing and promotional efforts of the company including: emails, blog posts, conference preparation, etc., and materials on multiple product campaigns
    Assist in running social media marketing under supervision
    Intern will be assigned to come up with a creative Instagram and Snapchat campaign
    Attend brainstorm sessions for campaigns and marketing meetings
    Perform other duties as assigned by management
